Wrinkle Treatment
As time goes by, our skin loses its elasticity and gradually begins to sag downwards with its tissues. In cases of extreme sagging, facelift surgery is performed, or partial facelift surgery is done, but in cases of minor sagging and those who fear surgery, other methods are employed. Here, with minor interventions, the skin’s elasticity is increased, and the underlying skin is pulled upwards with threads, using a method called spider web, but it is important to select the right patient for this procedure.
We can explain the criteria for the right patient as follows: just as we wouldn’t take a patient with a broken leg to an obstetrician, if the patient’s complaints are severe and cannot be rectified with minor medical interventions, then it must be said that surgery is necessary.
What I want to emphasize here is that there is a certain amount of sagging and wrinkling. If the sagging is greater than what you can tighten with threads or the wrinkles are larger than what you can fill with a needle, then you should not opt for these procedures.
This determination is made quite simply by asking the patient how they would like to look and requesting them to show it. The amount of wrinkling is important here. If it’s just a normal wrinkle, this procedure is not a very troublesome process.
It’s possible to rejuvenate a person without surgery every half hour. How does this happen? Let me explain. Our patient came and said, ‘I want to look 10 years younger, but I don’t want surgery, and I have half an hour to get rid of the wrinkles on my face, so make me look younger in half an hour and send me off, doctor.’
How is Wrinkle Treatment Done?
First, we analyze the anatomy of the patient’s face and determine what they need and which wrinkles need to be eliminated or corrected.
As a result of this analysis, wrinkles are usually identified in the forehead area between the eyebrows and around the eyes, in the area known as crow’s feet.
For these wrinkles, the procedure we will perform is quite simple, but one thing to note is that everyone can perform wrinkle treatment, but they only take ownership until a problem arises. The real issue is not causing this problem, and if it does arise, being able to manage it.
What needs to be done here is to fulfill the patient’s request. If they want their eyebrows lifted, forehead lines smoothed out, lines between the eyebrows and bunny lines taken care of, then we need to fill these areas with injections. When you do this procedure, the wrinkles will be treated over time because they won’t move.
If you descend downward, lines appear on the sides of the nose and mouth. For the elimination of these lines, we need to continue the application we made around the eyes and forehead by performing a filling procedure. But how do we do this? Do we use a needle again? No, we make small endoscopic incisions and enter without a needle, using a tool called a cannula. Lip filler, including the area above the lips, and fillers below the lips and other empty spaces on the face are applied from a single point by entering through a small endoscopic hole.
This is a correction that can be done without cutting, without pain, without causing discomfort, without anesthesia. The filler material is actually synthetic collagen, which is produced to resemble the collagen found in our bodies, which makes our skin look tighter.”
