Schüssler Salts
Schüssler Salts
Schüssler salts are the name given to a biochemical mineral therapy, which has been used for therapeutic purposes since it was introduced by Dr. Wilhelm Schüssler.
Initially emerged through tissue tests conducted by a doctor named Wilhelm Heinrich Schüssler in 1873, it was understood that there are essentially 12 different minerals in the human body. Although there are many debates regarding the treatments generally used, we know that they consist of 11-12 mineral salts, all of which have significant effects on the body. Nowadays, they are used in the treatment of problems arising from mineral deficiency in osteopathic care therapies.
Is there a relationship between mineral salts and cellular activities?
Each organism consists of a special, small number of substances, maintaining a harmonious balance. If this balance is subjected to significant stress from internal or external factors, diseases may occur. According to Dr. Schüssler’s experiences, mineral salts can also eliminate resulting discomforts. Normally, our body obtains sufficient mineral salts through healthy nutrition. No cellular activity is possible without mineral salts. Poor nutrition, changing lifestyles, and environmental pollution significantly increase the need for mineral salts.
How are deficient minerals detected?
In the Schüssler minerals method, deficient minerals are attempted to be detected by facial reading. Over time, the missing minerals begin to manifest various signs on the face through various algorithms. Since these mineral salts are not chemical products, they have no side effects and are referred to as tissue salts.
In facial analysis, the consultant and the Schüssler mineral expert sit face to face. The expert analyzes the consultant’s face and neck, noting all skin characteristics, color, texture, and structural differences observed. In addition to the analysis, a health history is taken to identify physical symptoms and discomforts. Finally, a general condition assessment and planning for mineral use are made.
